Our hearts are breaking for what has happened to Lahaina in Maui. That beautiful historic town was once our home. I'm Hawaiian and was born in Maui. I moved back after I got married. Robert and I ran a coffee and gelato shop on Front Street in Lahaina. We loved living there and being part of the community.
The recents fires have destroyed the town of Lahaina. So many historic spots we knew have been turned to ash. Not only the businesses, but our friends homes have also been destroyed. In one day so many lost everything they had.
We want to help all those suffering the aftermath of these devastating fires. We are hosting a week long fundraiser in our stores starting August 28th. You can choose whatever you would like to donate, and our friends at BOH technologies will match the donations we receive, up to $10,000. We also have a link below if you would like to donate now.
We will also be selling "Maui Strong" T-Shirts made by Hawaiian Island Creations, and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Maui Strong Fund.
